Getting started
Which courses does the app offer?
Four courses: Romanian for Turkish speakers, Turkish for Romanian speakers, English for Romanian speakers and Romanian for English speakers. You choose your course when you first open the app and can switch later from your profile.
When will the app be available?
Turgut Hoca is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. We will announce the launch on turguthoca.com.
Do I need an account?
No. You can start learning straight away. Creating an account with your email address, or with Sign in with Apple on iPhone, keeps your progress safe and lets you continue on another device.
Can I learn without an internet connection?
Yes. Lessons and audio are downloaded to your phone, and downloaded lessons always work offline. Your progress is saved on the device and syncs when you are back online.
How do I change the app language?
Open Profile, go to Settings and choose App language. The app is available in Turkish, Romanian and English. By default it follows your course.
Subscription & billing
What does the subscription include?
Every unit and lesson unlocked, unlimited practice and review, and audio for every word.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, so they are cancelled from your store account. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Turgut Hoca.
- Android: open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid being charged for the next one. You keep access until the period ends.
How do I restore a purchase on a new phone?
Sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used to subscribe, open the subscription screen in the app and tap Restore purchases.
How do I request a refund?
Payments are processed by Apple or Google, so refunds are handled by them. On iPhone, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, follow Google Play’s refund process from your order history. If something went wrong, write to us as well and we will help.
Account & data
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, tap I forgot my password and enter your email address. We will send you a six-digit code, valid for 15 minutes, to set a new password.
How do I delete my account and data?
Open Profile, go to Settings and choose Delete account, or Delete my data if you have not created an account. Your progress and data are permanently deleted and cannot be restored.
You can also ask us to delete your data by writing to info@krkprivilege.ro. Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription; see above.
How do you handle my personal data?
We collect only what the app needs to work and to improve it. The Turgut Hoca app has its own privacy policy, published together with the app. For this website, see our Privacy Policy.
Online courses
Where can I find the video courses?
Our full catalogue, the free placement test and the weekly live sessions are on turguthoca.com. Selected courses are also available on Udemy. See Online courses for an overview.
Are the app and the video courses the same?
They share the same teaching, but they are separate products. The video courses are bought on turguthoca.com or Udemy; the app has its own subscription through the App Store or Google Play.
